LIVE GIGS
Doors open from 6pm, with the live music beginning around 7.30. Please buy a ticket before the performance, as our small intimate venue usually sells out well before each event. We a non reservation bar so get in early to plonk yourself down. Please be aware table sharing will happen, but we will do our best to find you the best seat available on all our events. Tapas will be served throughout the performances from 6pm, but we close our doors at 10pm
TORTILLA DE PATATA COMPETITION 25
With 27 entries, a punk/rock band going hell for leather, three previous winners and a Spanish chef on the judging panel, the day was full of heat, eggs and potatoes. The atmosphere was tense, and the tortilla chatter was intense.
Who had made the best entry? Were the potatoes soft? Was there enough salt? You could cut the suspense and most of the tortillas with a knife.
By 4 p.m. the results were in. The top ten were read out, and then the final three were announced. It was incredibly close. When Elinor Stirling was crowned the winner, we all very so emotional

Spanglish Navidad Celebration
To all El Rincón Spanish students, past and present!
Jen and myself warmly invite you to our Spanglish Navidad Celebration on 15th diciembre a las 7 for mince pies, mulled vino and a traditional Mexican carol.
